Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has predicted another defeat for Man United when they come visiting at Goodison Park in the early kick-off on Saturday.

Man United suffered an embarrassing defeat against Istanbul just after the 1-0 defeat against Arsenal. It is feared that they could suffer their third successive defeats across all competitions.

The Premier League clash with the Merseyside outfit is only three days from their return to England after a trip to Turkey for the Champions League.

Carlo Ancelotti suggests that his team have had enough rest and should be physically ready for the game than the Red Devils, a development that is an advantage to his team in extending Man United’s woes.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had earlier blasted the Premier League over United’s fixture scheduling and revealed how an appeal to postpone the game against Sunday was rejected.

With the Red Devils hoping to return to winning ways, a lot will have to be done to avoid another defeat on Saturday.

However, Carlo Ancelotti admits his team have an advantage over Man United ahead of the game, stressing that they have always done well each time they observed some rest.

“It can be an advantage,” Ancelotti said.

“As I said before, the top teams have a really, really big schedule so it is really difficult for them. So we can take advantage of this on a physical aspect, above all.

“But I think we did better when we had games every three days.

“But from a physical point of view, we have an advantage for sure.”

Meanwhile, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is currently under pressure to redeem the club’s image from defeats and his first duty is to win away from home against Everton.

Should Man United fail to produce a positive result from the game, then he risks being sacked as they go into the game sitting on the 15th position of the Premier League table.
