Speaking before their meeting in the Champions League on Wednesday night, French Ligue 1 outfit Rennes manager Julien Stephan tipped English Premier League club Chelsea to win the competition.
The West London outfit have had a perfect record this season in eth Champions League and the Rennes manager holds the opinion that they can go all the way in the tournament because of the composition of the team.
Julien Stephan is not the first to make this claim as Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui also made the same statement by insisting that Blues have all it takes to be champions of the competition.
However, the Blues team have also replicated the success of the Champions League in the Premier League despite starting slow and are now sitting close to the top with just four points behind the league leaders.

This season has been tipped to be a long one for all clubs in the Premier League as the winners cannot be known until the last few games because of the high-level competition that is being experienced. The same is expected in the Champions League despite the easy run by most clubs in the group stage.
The target for manager Frank Lampard is to win a trophy this season and also ensure the return of the West London club to the Champions League next season as it is the only way he could be regarded as a success.
Chelsea’s season was saved by the coming of goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and this fact has been admitted by manager Frank Lampard who claims he has helped to bring calm to the team.
The Blues team suffered some major errors by Kepa Arrizabalaga who was a former first-choice goalkeeper and it cost the team a lot of points before they the signing from French Ligue 1 outfit Rennes.
