Despite being linked with a move to Man United and Real Madrid, German Bundesliga outfit, Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland is reported to favour a move to English Premier League title holders, Liverpool.
The Norwegian striker has been impressive since he was discovered at RB Salzburg and is now doing great with the German Bundesliga outfit to have attracted several clubs for his signature.
It is becoming clearer that he might not have a long spell with Borussia Dortmund because of the several despite interests in his service and the Bundesliga club will want to cash in from his sale as his relapse clause would be activated.
Man United showed serious interest in the service of Erling Haaland and made an attempt even in the last summer transfer window when they failed to agree on a deal for Jadon Sancho. The Norwegian attacker was the next option for them at Borussia Dortmund.

RB Salzburg sports director, Christoph Freund told Sky90 as relayed by Welt that Liverpool is the destination for Erling Haaland and hinted that Borussia Dortmund would be powerless to stop the move.
He narrated how RB Salzburg also lacked the influence to keep the striker when Borussia Dortmund came to seek his signature ad that could happen this time around.
He said: “Erling really bit us. The talks with Dortmund were short. They told they had come to an agreement. we didn’t have that much influence on it, but it worked out correctly. Many clubs were interested and go it in touch. In the end, it was a decision made by the player”.
However, Welt explain: ‘When TV expert Lothar Matthäus enumerated possible switch options, his friend agreed with the keyword Liverpool FC: “He will land there”.
Meanwhile, Erling Haaland has been rated as a player who has the quality to play in any team in the world because of his mentality and self-confidence.
