English Premier League Champions Liverpool are set to take a clue from Chelsea to storm German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig for summer transfer activities.

This is after French outlet Le10Sport reported that the Reds team are set to sign RB Leipzig defender, Nordi Mukiele with an offer expected to be submitted in the coming days.

Note that Chelsea secured the signature of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, a player tipped with high quality. Liverpool might have been tempted to look that direction also.

Nordi Mukiele is known to be a utility player as he is being deployed at right full-back in most cases but the 22-year-old is known to be very good in the center of the defence. Since his move from Montpellier in 2018 to RB Leipzig, Nordi Mukiele has continued to impress, the reason why he has attracted interests across Europe.

French Ligue 1 outfit Liverpool are reported to be keen on Nordi Mukiele as well and will join the race to land him as a replacement for Thomas Meunier.

However, Liverpool have shown to be a big club with great ambition in recent years, a feat that could attract the player to consider a move to Anfield if the right bid is tabled.
