English Premier League outfit Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has had a change of mind over German defender Antonio Rudiger and he is set to give him a chance again in the team for the season.
The Blues boss has subbed the German international since the start of the season as he has not been in action for six games but that has changed with the player revealing that he held talks with the Chelsea legend.
With the lack of playing time, it was almost certain that Antonio Rudiger will leave the West London outfit in the last January winter transfer window with French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain and Tottenham showing interest in him for a loan deal but that did not happen again with the latest development at the club.

Reports claim there was never an issue between Antonio Rudiger and Frank Lampard for not finding playing time and that will not be made evident with the integration of the player into the team.
Antonio Rudiger was named as a substitute player in their weekend game against Man United and Frank Lampard has hinted that he is happy with the contribution of the player and he is likely to be included in the squad that will face FC Krasnodar in the Champions League on Wednesday.
With The West London outfit battling to have quality defending, Antonio Rudiger could be the answer for Frank Lampard as he has started all five matches for Germany so far despite not getting any minute of football for Chelsea this season.
What is now unknown is if Antonio Rudiger will remain at Stamford Bridge after the January winter transfer window as he would be receiving offers from his suitors but the coming weeks will reveal if he would be settled at the club or not.
