English Premier League outfit Man United are assured that they will cash in the sum of £20 million from the sale of Phil Jones as he is being linked away from the club.
Phil Jones has been at Old Trafford since 2011 when he was signed by former manager Alex Ferguson but he is no longer the same player and seems to have lost his place in the first team.
The ex-Blackburn player had recently extended his contract with the Red Devils until 2023 but he might not be at the club beyond the January winter transfer window and The Sun reports that Man United will look to benefit £20 million from his sale.

Phil Jones has not been at his best due to fitness reasons, having just had eight games in the last 12 months. The 28-year-old seeks to have a new challenge elsewhere and may have to take a pay cut to make it happen.
It is understood that the Red Devils will play hardball with any of Phil Jones’ suitors as they will insist their valuation is bet before the player can move.
However, Man United will be left with Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly, and Victor Lindelof if Phil Jones leaves the club in January.
