North London outfit Arsenal started the Premier League season on a very high note with two wins in three games but that changed after the return from the last international break with the two defeats against Man City and Leicester City.
The Gunners can only boast of nine points from six games this season and they are nowhere close to the top four to raise fears that last season’s fate could still befall the team at the end of the campaign.
Arsenal legend Martin Keown holds the opinion that Mikel Arteta’s managerial style of selection and squad rotation might be the reason for his recent defeats, stressing that it must stop immediately.
Martin Keown noted that Mikel Arteta must be consistent in his team’s selection, stressing that it enhances his success as he laments that there has not been consistency so far.

The Gunners legend told the Spanish boss that the inconsistency in selection is one the reason why former manager Unai Emery failed to get results at eth Emirates Stadium and that led to his sack.
“They keep changing from one system to another and they did this with Emery,” Martin Keown told Stadium Astro.
Martin Keown said he would like to see an Arsenal team and find the same pictures, the same triangles, movements, partnership, and relationship because that is the only way there can be a better understanding and teamwork.
He warned that there will be no rhythm in the team if the managerial style of the former Man City assistant manager continues.
There is rebuilding in the Arsenal team and it is evident with the recruitment of new and strategic players but they are yet to translate it into results as Mikel Arteta embarks on his mission to give the gunners a new shape and culture.
