If the claim credited to Chelsea boss, Frank Lampard is anything to go by, Italian international Jorginho will not be leaving the Stamford Bridge this summer transfer window despite speculations.
Jorginho has not been a part of the Frank Lampard team since the restart of the league as the Chelsea legend has his attention on a younger squad that has been working for him. He was only handed 10 minutes of play from the bench against Crystal Palace, making speculations of Juventus’ interest in the midfielder to come alive with manager Maurizio Sarri reported to be keen on a reunion with his former player.

However, Lampard has not viewed the situation in the same light after claiming that Jorginho is an important player in the West London outfit, hinting that he would be staying ahead of the summer window.
Giving reasons why he has not been playing Jorginho, Lampard claims to be having selection issues, citing N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, and Gilmour as other options available for selection. He added that Mason Mount, Ross Barkley, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are other options in the advanced role at the midfield which makes playing time for Jorginho difficult.
Juventus will be left disappointed if Jorginho fails to make a move as he is already in next season’s plan for manager Maurizio Sarri.
