Chelsea legend Alan Hudson is the latest to give manager Frank Lampard a strike over his tactics at the club and he is unsure if the Blues legend and lead the West London outfit to a Premier League title.

The West London outfit have continued to be inconsistent with the delivery of good results under the former Blues midfielder and more to that is the fact that they have conceded nine goals which is the worst defensive record in the history of the club.

Alan Hudson noted that Fran Lampard cannot be compared with the likes of Jurgen Klopp, adding that his tactics against Man United was wrong, the reason why he failed to win the game last Saturday.

The West London outfit recorded goalless draws in their Champions League game against Sevilla before the Man United draw to make it two successive clean sheets but that has not stopped Alan Hudson from criticizing the team.

Alan Hudson stressed that Frank Lampard has not learned lessons as he continues to make excuses for experienced players who are guilty of defensive blunders, noting that the same happened to Chelsea last season but for the fact that Liverpool were far ahead of most teams, it was unnoticed.

He added that the Chelsea boss will be more exposed because the likes of Everton and Wolves are better teams now and Arsenal are beginning to pick up again to close the gap that existed before now.

Reacting to the two goalless draw results from the Champions League and the Premier League games, Alan Hudson stated that Frank Lampard was desperate to correct his defensive blunders and had to stall out by not having adequate shots on target just to stop the opponents from scoring goals.

However, it is feared that Frank Lampard would be sacked if the results don’t improve in subsequent games.
