From all indications, Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira will never return to the Emirates Stadium as an Arsenal player again.
Lucas Torreira is currently on a loan term at the Spanish La Liga club, Atlético Madrid after making the move in the last summer transfer window.
According to Lucas Torreira, during one of his interview after his move away from the North London, he was unhappy in England and had family issues that affected his form but that has since disappeared after he joined the Spanish La Liga outfit as he seems to have settled quickly in the team.

Moreover, the North London outfit are looking forward to cashing in from the sale of the former Sampdoria midfielder and will be glad to have it done in the interest of both parties.
However, the North London outfit have secured the signature of Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid which is believed to be a perfect replacement for Lucas Torreira
The 24-year-old joined the Gunners from Sampdoria in 2018 with lots of prospects but he lost his mojo and went down the pecking order under manager Mikel Arteta.
Torreira moved to Atlético on deadline day and made his debut for his new side in their 2 – 0 win over Celta Vigo at the weekend.
