It is feared that Mesut Ozil could be staying in the Premier League when he decides to leave Arsenal either in the January transfer window or in the summer.

The contract of the World Cup winner expires in the summer but for the fact that he might never play for the club again, he could force a move away in the January window against his earlier stance of seeing out his contract.

Mesut Ozil was omitted from Arsenal’s Europa League and Premier League squad which is a confirmation that he is no longer needed to add to the fact that he has not played any competitive game for the club since last season.

This is coming after Carlton Cole tipped the German international to join London outfit West Ham United when he leaves the Emirates Stadium.

According to him, West Ham United always liked those kinds of players and that could prompt them into making a move should the former Real Madrid star decide on staying in England.

The fact that Mesut Ozil is known to love London also makes his suggested move to West Ham United a possibility in the future.

However, West Ham United will be faced with the challenge of meeting the £350,000 weekly wage demand of the Arsenal outcast.
