The coming year could be a very good one for Arsenal in terms of financial strength as there are expectations that they will be saving about £34.2 million on wages which will help to bring in new players.

At the moment, there seems to be a lot of redundancy at the Emirates Stadium and efforts to have them removed failed as most of the players that were meant to leave the club could not agree with their suitors.

However, it is excepted that Mesut Ozil, Sokratis Papa, and Shkodran Mustafi, will be off the books of the North London outfit next year as their contracts come to an end.

The sum total of the wages of these three players sums up to £34.2 million a year as Mesut Ozil is the highest earner at the club with £350,000 weekly wage. This means the said fee will be available in the coming year.

However, the fee could be available even much earlier with Arsenal reportedly making efforts to have Mesut Ozil terminate his contract in January while Sokratis Papa could also leave the club in the winter window.

Meanwhile, Arsenal chief, Edu has already revealed that he has had a one-on-one talk with Mesut Ozil, explaining to him that he will not be a part of the club’s Europa League and giving him reasons.
