English Premier League title holders Liverpool have been thrown into a sort of confusion with the injury of Dutch defender Virgil Van Dijk as they find it difficult to replace him.
The former Southampton defender suffered a knee injury in the Premier League encounter against Everton, in what is known as the Merseyside outfit.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is set to invest faith in Joe Matip, Gomez, and Fabinho in his absence but there have been concerns raised by pundits over their ability.

It is already speculated that manager Jurgen Klopp will have Fabinho to replace Virgil Van Dijk and former Reds defender Glenn Johnson says it is possible for the club to have a perfect cover for the Dutch defender in Fabinho and will no longer have a need for a new defender.
He stressed that all that is needed is for the defenders, especially Fabinho to be 100 percent defensive-minded in his approach to the game as that can help give a perfect cover for the injured defender.
However, Virgil Van Dijk is expected to be out for a couple of weeks, and Liverpool are reported to be in the market for a cover and will make a defensive signing as soon as the January winter transfer window s opened.
