English Premier League outfit Arsenal were keen on the signature of French outfit Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar in the summer transfer window but his asking price was too high that they could not pay.
The North London outfit resulted in employing the service of Ghanaian international midfielder Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid but there have been speculations that they will make a return for the Lyon midfielder in subsequent transfer windows.
However, the latest report as hinted that the North London club might not make a move for Houssem Aouar in the future with attention already shifting to RB Salzburg attacker Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Hungary international has been showing great prospects and has caught the eye of the Gunners and it is expected that a move would be made for him in the coming transfer window.
The North London outfit will face competition from German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig for the signature of Dominik Szoboszlai but they have been convinced to give a good fight for his signature with the scout report already tabled.
However, the Gunners will hope to replace Lucas Torreira with Dominik Szoboszlai as he is expected to sign a permanent deal with Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid after his loan term.
