English premier league giants Arsenal are reportedly plotting a loan move for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho following the disappointment of missing out on Lyon star Houssem Aouar.
This is according to the report from reliable journalist Julian Laurens which revealed that the Gunners have turned their attention to rivals Chelsea to bolster their midfield.
The Gunners had earlier been linked with the Blues midfielder as the alternative to Houssem Aouar who has been their top midfield target throughout the summer.
Aouar has decided to stay at Lyon after the Gunners failed to satisfy the financial conditions laid down by club president Jean Michel Aulas.

The player made the decision upon a meeting with some Lyon officials as he was also not ready to risk moving to another league in an European Championship year.
Aouar was recently called to the national team for the first time and his target is to be part of the French national team squad to the European Championships next summer.
Jorginho scored twice from the penalty spot on Saturday afternoon as Chelsea secured their first league win at Stamford Bridge this season. It remains to be seen whether the Blues will let him strengthen a direct rival in the transfer market.
