French midfielder Paul Pogba might have signed a new deal with Man United but that was not as a result of panic from the Red Devils after the statement credited to him on real Madrid’s interest.

The former Juventus player recently signed a new deal that should keep him at the club until 2022 but it has been revealed that the extension was triggered and he has nothing to do with it.

Laurens Julien in his chat with talkSport stated that the Red Devils were sent into a panic after the statement credited to the World Cup winner as he hinted that the interpretation of his claims forced United into triggering his extension.

According to Laurens Julien, Paul Pogba did not say he wants to leave for Real Madrid now as he stressed that the player is currently happy at Man United.

It would be recalled that the former Juventus player had made a statement while granting an interview which was interpreted by the media as wanting to join Real Madrid.

When asked if he would want to join the Spanish giants, paul Pogba simply stated that any player will want to play for the Los Blancos and he is not an exemption.
