There are possibilities that the English Premier League outfit Arsenal will join the movement to start the European Premier League competition as it is claimed that they are being approached by the initiators.
Two Premier League outfits Man United and Liverpool are reported to be part of the initiators and they could be among those that have approached the North London club to join in the movement.
It is understood that the European Premier League could end the UEFA Champions League as it is proposed to start in 2020 after receiving the backing of the world football governing body, FIFA.

The proposed European Premier League is expected to involve 18 teams, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and others from the top leagues in the world.
A source has confirmed this development to Sky Sports and he made it clear that it is potentially the most important development in the world club football for decades.
However, the North London outfit are yet to confirm the development and it is not reported if they have accepted the offer or not.
Howbeit, it is unlikely that the UEFA Champions League will be abolished as it might continue to give opportunities to other interested clubs and leagues.
