English Premier League club Man United were able to secure the signature of Alex Telles in the summer transfer window but they would have missed out but for the effort of the left-back.
This was revealed by FC Porto president Pinto da Costa who disclosed that the left-back forced his move away from the club.
According to the FC Porto president, the club was not interested in parting ways with the left-back and wouldn’t have sold him to Man United this summer transfer window. He was a major part of the plan for the season.
