Spanish giants Barcelona are reportedly targeting Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba ahead of the expiration of his contract with the Red Devils next summer.

Pogba has some months to run on his present Manchester United deal though the club has the option of extending it by one year.

According to the report via ESPN, Paul Pogba dreams of a move to Real Madrid but he won’t mind a transfer to their arch rivals Barcelona as an alternative if the Spanish champions don’t sign him.

Former club Juventus are also in the running to sign Pogba who has not made the best of starts to the new league campaign.

In another news, transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio has told Sky Sports that Diogo Dalot has a future at the club despite being farmed out on loan to AC Milan during the recent transfer market.

He said that Manchester United didn’t include a buy option in his loan transfer to the Rossoneri because the Portuguese fullback is still highly regarded at Old Trafford.

Diogo Dalot joined Manchester United from Portuguese champions, FC Porto, in 2018 and has so far failed to nail down a permanent shirt in the starting XI.

AC Milan officials wanted to sign him on a permanent deal but the Red Devils were only interested in a loan deal.
