Many are still to come in terms with the fact that Arsenal’s highest earner Mesut Ozil has not played a single game for the club since last season and he has refused to leave.
Mesut Ozil is now an outcast at Arsenal as he has not been in any competitive game for the club. To make it worst, the German international was not listed in Arsenal’s Europa League squad.
This makes pundits conclude that he might not be seen in an Arsenal shirt for a game until his contract with the club runs out in the coming summer.

However, it is reported that Mesut Ozil recently received a lucrative bid from an unnamed Saudi Arabia club to give him the opportunity to play the game again but he refused.
An ESPN report has now revealed that the reason why Mesut Ozil has refused to leave Arsenal is to fight his way back into the Mikel Arteta team with the hope of playing again.
It is reported that the former Real Madrid midfielder is still hopeful of playing for Arsenal before the end of his contract but that will be the sole decision of manager Mikel Arteta to make, especially after claiming that the reason for Mesut Ozil’ snub is technical.
