The signing of new players and giving of new contracts is yet to be over at Arsenal with the latest report that attacking midfielder, Marcelo Flores has signed his first professional contract with the club.

This summer transfer window was full of transfer activities and the signing of deals. The Gunners signed Willian, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Thomas Partey this window brought in Danu Ceballos on a loan deal, and extended the contract of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The loan deals of Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares were also made permanent to make it a very busy summer window for the North London outfit.

Of course, all of the signings have not come to an end with the professional deal handed to Marcelo Flores on Tuesday after he joined the club as a scholar from Ipswich in the summer of 2019.

Arsenal in a statement hailed Marcelo Flores for his agility, pace, and creativity, stressing that the 17-year-old is a versatile attacking player that will add value to the club in the future.

The Mexican Youth international has already had a taste of the U-18 as he featured in the Youth Premier League last season and two appearances in the Youth FA Cup.

He was on target with a brace in the U-18’s 3-2 win against Crystal Palace last weekend.
