From all indication, Egyptian international Mohamed Elneny will remain as an Arsenal player for the season, subject to any change in mind by manager Mikel Arteta.

It was expected that Mohamed Elneny will be sold in the just concluded season after returning from a loan spell at Besiktas but that did not happen as he seems to have been favoured by the Spanish boss for a stay. He was also handed a couple of starts this season and he impressed.

Speaking to the club’s website, Mohamed Elneny stated that now that he will be staying at the North London outfit, he will have to improve on his game to be able to deliver a more impressive performance.

Mohamed Elneny noted that the way Mikel Arteta trains, the way he wants players to play is how he likes to play and that keeps him perfect at the club.

The Egyptian midfielder noted that he was short of confidence under former manager Unai Emery but that has now changed with the playing time given to him and the encouragement from his teammates.

Mohamed Elneny has, therefore, vowed to continue to build and learn new things every day to improve every day in his game for the club and the manager.
