Belgium international Romelu Lukaku is no longer a Man United player but what he has done in the past still has an effect on the team.

More to the fact that the club has not been able to replace him with a goal-scoring striker, he was also influential in ensuring the departure of two other players that would have helped the team.

Reports claim that the Inter Milan striker influenced two Man United players to leave the club because of clans in the dressing room. It added that there were too many factions in the Red Devils dressing room and it became a toxic situation.

It is also understood that the huge contract given to Chile international and former Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is one of the reasons for the factions in the dressing room as there was discontent among a group of players in the team because of their opinion that they have not been rewarded for their loyalty.

However, Alexis Sanchez left the club last season and made a move to San Siro on loan and was later joined by Ashley Young.

There are opinions that the Red Devils team has not been the same since the departure of these stars because of their quality and experience.
