It is no more news that Arsenal recuperating midfielder Santi Cazorla would be leaving Arsenal as a free agent this summer.

According to widely spread rumours in all the media, the 33-year-old is set to join Villarreal for the trials and he would be awarded a new contract ahead of the season, should he perform brilliantly.

Due to his proposed departure, which could happen in few days time, many fans, players, managers, ex-footballers have been pouring their good-wishes.

German international defender Shkodran Mustafi is the latest player to show how gutted he was to see the veteran moving out of Emirates Stadium.

The defender, who has has been called up to Germany squad ahead of the summer World Cup in Russia, praised the Spaniard via his verified Twitter account.

He, however, admitted that the Gunners are parting ways with one of the best midfielders in the world.

Cazorla’s impressive performances for the North London club was halted in 2016, after picking a lengthy injury which ruled him out of action for two years. He will join the growing list of players who moved out of Emirates Stadium within one season of football.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez, Francis Coquelin and Olivier Giroud have all moved away from Wenger’s tutelage during the Frenchman’s tenure last season.

Here is what Cazorla wrote on his Twitter account concerning the Spaniard’s departure below.

“Sad to see such a great character leaving us. Santi my friend, it was a big  pleasure to get to know you and an honour to play with you. I’m sure you’ll  make your way back and put a smile upon the faces of football fans soon  again. Hasta luego amigo!”
