Man United have been handed more confidence in their bid to land their summer transfer target and French forward Ousmane Dembele in the subsequent transfer windows following the decision of the club to come down on his asking price.

After missing out on their top target, Jadon Sancho, the Red Devils made effort to snap up the World Cup winner but he refused to give his nod to the deal despite the acceptance by the Spanish La Liga giants.

Man United had to wait until the transfer deadline day to learn the disappointment that they will not be having a world-class winger as wished by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

However, Barcelona have made it clear that Ousmane Dembele might not be graced with enough playing time and thought it wise to allow him to leave the club on a lesser fee.

According to Sport, the Catalans are now read7 to accept a £45 million offer for the 23-year-old against the initial £90.6 million to enable him to find a club as they only wish for a permanent move and not a loan move as earlier proposed by the Red Devils.

Howbeit, Ousmane Dembele has two more years on his current deal and there is no doubt that Barcelona still have time to be able to cash in on the Frenchman.
