English Premier League title holders Liverpool are currently facing a goalkeeping crisis as Alisson Becker will be out of action for a couple of weeks after sustaining a shoulder injury in training.

The Reds shot-stopper is currently battling for fitness is expected to be out of action for six weeks which means they are now short of options in that position.

The Merseyside outfit are now left in the hands of Adrian and from all indications; the club does not have a belief in his performance as the Brazilian goalkeeper especially after conceding 7 goals against Aston Villa in their Premier League game this season.

However, pundits have called Liverpool’s attention to Brentford goalkeeper, David Raya, who was linked with a move to join Arsenal in the just concluded summer transfer window.

The North London outfit were to part ways with goalkeeper Emi Martinez and needed a replacement which made them linked with David Raya but they eventually moved in for another target.

David Raya has proven to be a goalkeeper that can meet up with the challenge in the Premier League after pulling a series of great performances to win the attention of clubs in the top flight.

Meanwhile, the decision on whether to sign David Raya or other options is left to manager Jurgen Klopp to make.
