Manchester United tried to sign Borussia Dortmund player Jadon Sancho throughout the latest transfer market until the window closed on Monday, but it has been revealed that the Red Devils tried to sign another player from the German Bundesliga club on the last day of the transfer window.
According to the report via ESPN, Manchester United tried to sign Borussia Dortmund left-back Nico Schulz on loan before the transfer window ended.
The Red Devils were said to have offered €1m as the loan fee for the German international and that the club will cover his salary throughout the loan spell.

The Manchester United proposal led to Borussia Dortmund questioning the competence of the club’s recruitment team.
Dortmund rejected the lean offer for Schulz from Manchester United and the club had to look elsewhere for their left-back.
On deadline day, Manchester United completed the transfer of Alex Telles from Portugal.
Alex Telles is a Brazilian international who was playing for Portuguese champions FC Porto before Manchester United signed him last week in a £15.4m deal.
The 27-year-old will provide competition for Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams at left-back.
His first game for Manchester United could be the Premier League trip to Newcastle United this week.
