If the claims made by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano are to be believed then France international Paul Pogba would have dumped Man United for his former club Juventus but for the coronavirus pandemic.

More to the fact that most leagues of the world were forced to stop as a result of the outbreak of the pandemic, the majority of clubs have been affected by financial difficulties and can no longer operate as expected, especially in the transfer market.

Fabrizio Romano stated that the Italian Serie A outfit were preparing an important bid for the World Cup winner that will have him return to Italy but they could not go ahead because they have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

According to him, the bid would have been too luring to reject by both Man United and the player.

Meanwhile, the current form of the Red Devils has raised fears that Paul Pogba could be considering the option of leaving because the ambition of the club does not match his.

This is not the first time the former Juventus player will be linked away from the Old Trafford. It would be recalled that he the World Cup winner was linked with a move to the Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid but there was no concrete offer for his service.
