There have been a lot of analyses by pundits over who remains the best recruit by English Premier League outfit Arsenal over the past year as the club continues to get better by the day.

The last day of the summer transfer window proves to be one of its kind with the Gunners sealing the signature of Thomas Partey by activating his relapse clause despite the stubbornness of his former club Atletico Madrid.

This has made some pundits and fans to hail the signature as the best so far owing to his quality and what he brings into the team. Some have also hailed the contract renewal of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the best transfer decision of the club despite in a while.

However, Jamie Redknapp seems to be standing alone in his view as he claims that Arsenal’s best business over the last year was naming Mikel Arteta as the club’s manager.

The Spanish boss was named in December 2019 when former boss Unai Emery was sacked as a result of a poor start of the season and has gone ahead to transform the club in terms of their style and quality. This has also reflected in the results.

According to Jamie Redknapp, Mikel Arteta has been able to turn some players into really good players.
