Two Arsenal midfielders have secured loan deals away from the club on transfer deadline day.
The Arsenal duo of Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi have left the club on temporary deals.
Uruguayan international Torreira underwent his medicals at Atletico Madrid over the weekend and he has signed for them on loan for the remainder of this season with the option to sign a permanent deal for £22m.
Lucas Torreira leaves Arsenal after two seasons following his £26m transfer to the club from Italian Serie A team Sampdoria in 2018.
He would fill the vacuum left by the departure of Thomas Partey at Atletico Madrid.

Ghanaian international Thomas Partey made the biggest move on transfer deadline day after the Gunners activated his release clause.
Arsenal paid €50m (£45m) for his transfer to make him the fourth most expensive player at the club behind Nicholas Pepe, skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette.
Matteo Guendouzi has signed for German Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin on loan from Arsenal.
Various reports claimed that Hertha Berlin have paid €4m for the player.
Guendouzi was frozen out of the Arsenal squad after his poor conduct during the Premier League visit to Brighton and Hove Albion last season.
