This is long-awaited news that has been expected by fans but never happened until now. It is reported that Matteo Guendouzi will be involved in a deadline day move to German club Hertha Berlin.

The Frenchman has been linked with a move from the Emirates Stadium even before the start of the summer transfer window but that never happened. He has been linked with a move to Marseille, Villarreal and AS Roma but they did not fall through.

Matteo Guendouzi has been out of favour at Arsenal since the restart of football as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and has been frozen out of the team alongside German international Mesut Ozil. There is no way he would be allowed to stay at the club again.

However, is claimed that he could be on his way to Germany with something positive happening with Hertha Berlin and it could be finalized before the end of the transfer window.

The details of the deal have not been revealed as it is still unknown if he will be having a permanent move or a loan move away from Arsenal but no doubt the club wants a complete sale to be able to cash in.
