English Premier League outfit Man United are close to sealing their second major summer transfer deal after Donny van de Beek from Ajax earlier on.

It is reported by ESPN that the Red Devils have agreed on personal terms with Edison Cavani and he will be a Man United player for the next two years. The 33-year-old is expected to fly into England from France to have his medicals on Sunday before an official announcement of the deal can be made.

Edison Cavani, who joined French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain in 2013 from Italian Serie A outfit Napoli for a fee of £55 million is now a free player and will have a bossman move to Man United.

There is no doubt that he will be a good addition for the Red Devils as his pedigree is known, having scored about 200 goals in about 300 games for Paris Saint Germain within seven years.

Edison Cavani is expected to bring in the competition to Anthony Martial as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to land another attacker to his books but that will not stop his bid for a winger and a defender before the summer transfer window is shut in the next few days.
