The current form of EPL club Man United is bad for their summer transfer business especially as they are making efforts to make last-minute deals by convincing players and clubs to accept their offers.

The Red Devils suffered one of their worst defeats in the club’s history at the weekend as they were humiliated 6-1 by North London outfit Tottenham at the Old Trafford.

Having lost out of their major target and Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, the Red Devils are making moves to convince Ousmane Dembele to join the club as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on a winger.

Pundits fear that the current situation at the Old Trafford may further discourage the player from giving his nod to the move after much has been done to convince him, knowing that he turned down offers to join Liverpool earlier in the transfer window.

Meanwhile, the only way for Man United to correct things at the club is to bring in fresh legs before the end of the summer window.

However, it is understood that the Red Devils will confirm the signature of Edison Cavani on a free transfer from Paris Saint Germain as well as Alex Telles from FC Porto on Monday.
