Premier league club, Manchester United are closing in on the signing of young defender Willy Kambwala, according to French news portal RMC Sport.
The Red Devils are expected to wrap up a €4m (£3.6m) transfer for the Sochaux centre back at the start of this week.
Willy Kambwala will leave his French Ligue 2 club for Manchester to undergo his medicals later this week and the deal is expected to be made official by Monday.
The €4m transfer fee includes add-ons as per the aforementioned report.

Manchester United are expected to be busy in the final hours of this summer’s transfer window with the transfer of both Willy Kambwala and Edinson Cavani.
Willy Kambwala will join the youth teams at Walter Carrington training ground upon the official confirmation of his transfer from Sochaux, while Uruguayan international Cavani will slot into the senior squad immediately after his move to Old Trafford has been confirmed.
Edinson Cavani was a free agent until now following his release at the end of his Paris Saint Germain (PSG) contract last season.
The 33-year-old striker has agreed a two-year deal until the end of the 2021/22 season. He will be one of the highest earners at Manchester United with weekly wages of £220,000.
