As hinted by manager Mikel Arteta, the last few days of the summer transfer window will be a decisive one for the club and that is already happening as it is now clear that Arsenal will not be signing their top target, Houssem Aouar from French Ligue 1 outfit Lyon.
Lyon had made it clear that they will not be doing any summer transfer business after Friday and had given their words on releasing Houseem Aouar, only if his release clause is being activated.

The Gunners were unable to get anything done before the end of Friday and that has been followed by an official statement from the Frech Ligue 1 outfit, stating that none of their players will be leaving the club.
This has made Arsenal fans furious as they storm the social media to express their anger but French Journalist Julien Laurens is saying they have no need to worry because another midfielder will be joining the Emirates Stadium before the end of Monday after losing out on Houssem Aouar.
Meanwhile, the North London club have been linked with a move for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho with the journalist hinting that they could land him before deadline day as Mikel Arteta is still keen to get something for the season’s challenge.
