The reason why Arsenal have not been able to complete their summer transfer deals is because of their lack of funds to buy and that could be resolved before the deadline day.

So far, the North London outfit earned £20 million from the sale of Emi Martinez. They could be set to earn another fee from sales before the end of the Monday deadline to be able to bring in more players.

This is as reports claim that Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira underwent medicals at Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid and will soon be signing a loan deal with an option to buy.

The North London outfit are expected to benefit from this move and that could add to their funds while other players, including Sead Kolasinac, Matteo Guendouzi could still leave this summer transfer window for Arsenal to cash in.

Should the Gunners make any sales before Monday deadline, they will be having enough funds to make some signings as well.

Arsenal still have the chance to activate the release clause of Thomas Partey after losing out on Houssem Aouar and they are also being linked with Chelsea midfielder Jorginho as the player is also opened to a move this summer transfer window.
