There’s uncertainty over the future of winger Harry Wilson at Liverpool following his return to the Premier League champions earlier this summer.

The 23-year-old returned to Liverpool after a relatively successful season-long loan spell at Bournemouth.

Harry Wilson is one of several players that could leave Liverpool before the end of the transfer window next week.

Premier League club Burnley have struggled to field players in the Premier League this season and the Clarets are hoping to add Harry Wilson to their playing squad before transfers end.

Burnley have fielded a lot of young players both on the pitch and on their substitutes’ bench due to lack of signings plus injuries to several first team players.

The Athletic disclosed that Liverpool and Burnley have been in talks for Harry Wilson to move to Turf Moor and that there has been no progress in recent times.

Harry Wilson is a Welsh international and he has played for Liverpool once.

His solitary appearance came during the 2016/17 season.

He has been sent on loan to Championship teams Hull City and Bournemouth in recent seasons.

Harry Wilson scored seven goals for Bournemouth in the Premier League last season but it was not enough as the Cherries were relegated from the top flight.
