The Athletic disclosed that Liverpool and Burnley have been in talks for Harry Wilson to move to Turf Moor and that there has been no progress in recent times.
Harry Wilson is a Welsh international and he has played for Liverpool once.
His solitary appearance came during the 2016/17 season.
He has been sent on loan to Championship teams Hull City and Bournemouth in recent seasons.
Harry Wilson scored seven goals for Bournemouth in the Premier League last season but it was not enough as the Cherries were relegated from the top flight.
