The North London outfit Arsenal are reported to have offered their new signing William Saliba to Premier League newcomers Leeds United this summer transfer window, Mail Online claims.

The 19-year-old joined the North London outfit from French Ligue 1 outfit, Saint Etienne, last summer but was made to spend last season on a loan with the club.

He finally returned to the Emirates Stadium at the end of last season but is yet to make any competitive game.

Manager Mikel Arteta has hinted that he is not ready for the challenge yet and may find one with a loan move.

French Ligue 1 outfit Rennes were reported to be making moves to sign the young Frenchman on loan but it is now understood that he could stay in the Premier League to gain the needed experience.

Leeds United have been impressive on their return to the Premier League after being away for 16 years in the Championship and they want to make more impressions by improving their squad as much as possible.

William Saliba is one player that has been hailed to be of great quality as he has been to model after Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk and Leeds United could be looking forward to enjoying this talent.

Arsenal’s decision to hand William Saliba to Leeds United might be to help him have more of the Premier League experience and that could be a big deal for the club to get him ready in the nearest possible time.
