Champions League finalists Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are targeting a transfer for Chelsea outcast Tiemoue Bakayoko.

This is according to media portal GFNF which stated that PSG will rival Italian Serie A giants Napoli for his signature.

Both PSG and Napoli want to take Bakayoko on loan for the remainder of this season with the option to sign him at the end of the loan deal.

The target for the two teams is to sign the player permanently once he impresses during the loan spell.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is available for a loan fee of €3m while a permanent transfer fee of €30m is needed afterwards.

The French international is not in both the short-term and long-term plans of Chelsea manager Frank Lampard following his return from French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco in the summer.

He spent the whole of last season at Monaco and he impressed a great deal at the Principality club.

It was his second spell at Monaco. Bakayoko was part of the AS Monaco team that reached the Champions League last four during the 2016/17 season.

Chelsea spent £40m to sign him after that season only for the midfielder to perform badly in his first season. He was shipped to AC Milan on loan in his second season before re-signing for Monaco last term.
