Arsenal are eyeing a late loan move for Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho according to the publication from Spanish outlet SPORT.
The Gunners had earlier weighed up the option of signing Philippe Coutinho on loan from Barcelona at the start of the transfer window in July but it looks like new Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman wants to keep the 29-year-old at the Nou Camp.
The report mentioned earlier stated that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could still make a move for the Brazilian international before the end of the transfer window.

The Barcelona player could boost the Brazilian contingent at Arsenal further this summer.
Arsenal signed Willian from Chelsea on a free transfer this summer to take the number of Brazilian players at Arsenal to three. The other Brazilian players at the club are David Luiz and Gabriel Martinelli.
Philippe Coutinho has not lived up to his hefty price tag at Barcelona following his £142m transfer from Liverpool in January 2018.
He left Barcelona to join German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich at the start of last season after a difficult 18-month period at the start of his Barcelona career.
Coutinho played his part in the treble-winning campaign of the Bavarian giants last season.
