Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia are targeting a shock move for Chelsea outcast Danny Drinkwater between now and the end of this transfer window next week.
This is according to the reports coming out of the Spanish media in the last few hours.
It was revealed that Los Che want to sign the Blues midfielder on loan for the remainder.
The interest of Valencia in Danny Drinkwater was initially revealed by Valencia-based radio La Grada.
Drinkwater, 30, has seen his football career hit a downward curve following his move to Chelsea in 2017 in a deal reported to be more than £30m.

The Chelsea midfielder joined the Blues from Leicester City.
Danny Drinkwater was a major player for Leicester City as they stunned the sporting world with their Premier League triumph during the 2015/16 season under the stewardship of Italian tactician Claudio Ranieri.
His form for the Foxes led England manager Gareth Southgate to extend a national team invitation to him.
Danny Drinkwater has spent unsuccessful loan spells at two Premier League teams in recent times.
He signed for both Burnley and Aston Villa from Chelsea on loan but was not able to regain his form at the two clubs.
Valencia are the latest club to show an interest in loaning him.
