According to ESPN, Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid are open to selling Thomas Partey to Arsenal this summer transfer window but they are yet to receive any official offer for him.
The report stressed that the Spanish La Liga club is currently awaiting a bid for the Ghanaian international midfielder from the Gunners, having informed Arsenal of his release clause.
Atletico Madrid wants to do business with Arsenal but the delay has been in the release clause as they are unwilling to listen to any offers lower than the £45 million tag.

Thomas Partey is a top target for manager Mikel Arteta which makes the North London outfit keen on his signature with reports also confirming that he is willing to make the move.
However, the fund has been the issue and for something positive to happen, the North London club will have to sell some players to be able to fund the move for Thomas Partey and that is expected to happen soon.
A number of names have been speculated to be on their way out of the club, including Lucas Torreira, Sead Kolasinac, Sokratis Papa, Mohamed Elneny, and Matteo Guendouzi.
The exit of these players is expected to raise funds to complete the transfer of other targets before the end of the summer window.
