Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has informed centre back Antonio Rudiger that he’s not part of his plans for this season amidst the transfer reports of a move to clubs in and out of England.
In the Premier League, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the German international defender but they won’t be able to sign the player if he does not fulfil a Chelsea obligation.
The Daily Mirror disclosed that Chelsea have told the player that he must sign a new contract before he could leave the club. He has around 18 months left on the contract.

West Ham United want to sign Rudiger on a season-long loan deal, while Tottenham Hotspur have lined him up as the alternative to Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar if the move for the Slovakian international falls through.
Antonio Rudiger could be the first place to move from Chelsea to Tottenham Hotspur or vice versa in a little over a decade.
The former AS Roma has also been linked with a return to his native Germany.
Rudiger has barely featured for Chelsea this season and this is partly due to the arrival of the experienced centre back Thiago Silva who was signed as a free agent in this transfer window.
