Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign Argentine wonderkid Alex Luna in the current transfer market.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, the North London team is now in the picture as far as the signing of the 16-year-old attacker is concerned.

Alex Luna plays for Argentine second division team Atletico Rafaela and he was in red-hot goalscoring form before the season was cut short by the dreaded Coronavirus Pandemic.

The young player had netted 16 goals before the premature end to the season earlier this year.

Other Premier League sides like Manchester United and Manchester City are also in the race to sign him. As a matter of fact, the Red Devils are said to be in the driving seat for the attacker alongside seven-time European champions AC Milan.

European teams like AS Roma, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich also want the youngster on their payroll.

Manchester United want to sign him and loan him back to his team. The Red Devils don’t want him to join them immediately according to various reports. They are ready to wait until 2022.

Alex Luna will definitely be a signing for the future for any of the aforementioned European teams including the Gunners.
