EPL: Man United could consider £60m-rated defender

English Premier League outfit Man United are being linked with the signature of Austria international David Alaba who is tipped to leave Bayern Munich this summer transfer window.

David Alaba is a player with top quality and experience. His ability to also play in the midfield makes him a player Bayern Munich should not lose but having changed his agent to Pini Zahavi, there seem to be a change in his demand and that seems to have affected his relationship with the club.

With David Alaba in his final year, Bayern Munich are keen to sell him off as they cannot meet his demand of a weekly pay of £400,000 as an improvement to the £290,000 he currently earns at the club.

The Bundesliga outfit are now keen to let go of the 28-year-old and their only option of getting him sold is to in a desperate club like Man United who are in need of a left-back.

The Red Devils’ chase of Sergio Reguilon had hit the rock while they are yet to seal the deal for Alex Telles despite claims that they have an agreement on personal terms.

David Alaba is another option the Red Devil could look to invest in but that might not happen if he continues to demand the £400,000 weekly pay because of his age and the financial situating at the Old Trafford.
