Premier League champions Liverpool have been urged to make a final assault on the transfer window by signing Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Reds have been told to sign the Senegalese international from Italian Serie A giants Napoli by their former player, Steve Nicol.
The ex-Liverpool defender and ESPN pundit described Koulibaly as a great centre back as he urged the Reds to make one final push in the transfer window.
While he was doing his punditry work on ESPN, Steve Nicol disclosed that Kalidou Koulibaly would make Liverpool a better team if they are able to sign him.

Premier League rivals Manchester City were thought to be the front-runners to sign Koulibaly but the transfer has hit a stumbling block due to the financial demands from Napoli.
The Italians want at least €80m for Kalidou Koulibaly and that prompted Manchester City to turn their attention to Benfica centre back Ruben Dias.
Manchester City had a €55m offer rejected by Sevilla for defender Jules Kounde shortly after their transfer bid to sign Koulibaly hit a snag. They turned to Ruben Dias afterwards.
Liverpool won the Premier League last season and they have signed three players this summer as they bid to become only the third team to retain the Premier League title after Manchester United and Chelsea.
