North London giants Arsenal are ready to make an improved bid for top midfield target Houssem Aouar as per the report from The Telegraph.
The Gunners want to make a new offer to Lyon for the player after their latest bid was turned down by the former French champions.
It was revealed that the Gunners will make a new bid of €40m (£36m) plus €10m (£9m) in add-ons thus making a total of €50m (£45m).

The new offer will be the third bid from the Gunners as they attempt to sign Houssem Aouar before the transfer market shuts. Arsenal had seen the first two offers rejected by Lyon whose president Jean Michel Aulas is a notoriously hard negotiator.
Arsenal initially made an offer of €35m (£31.5m) that included midfielder Matteo Guendouzi that was rejected before the second bid of €36m (£32m) was sent. The second offer also met the same outcome as the first offer.
Lyon value Aouar close to the €60m mark (£54m) though reports in the media claimed that the French giants would be happy to sanction the sale of the player for €50m (£45m).
Arsenal have signed six players this summer and the Gunners could make Houssem Aouar their seventh signing of the summer.
