If claims by Athletic’s David Ornstein are anything to go by, then Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson will be leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer transfer window for a loan deal.

Reiss Nelson is not assured of regular playing time with Arsenal this season because of the several options available in the team and that could keep him out of the team.

To help him continue his development and have playing time, he will have to leave the club this summer transfer window for a loan deal as Arsenal are not willing to let him leave on a permanent deal.

David Ornstein said he has been informed that the 20-year-old winger will be leaving the club on loan for more playing time as well as gain more experience before returning to the club.

He noted that talks have already begun with some clubs for his likely destination as he is attracting interest from a number of teams already. His contract with Arsenal is expected to end in the summer of 2023 which is enough time for him to prove himself.

This development gives a hint that a lot will still happen with the North London club before the end of the summer transfer window.
