It has been reported that the announcement of the departure of Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torriera from the Emirates Stadium will soon be announced after agreeing on a deal with Italian Serie A outfit Torino.
It is reported that the North London club have agreed to sell the Uruguayan international for £22 m to Torino. The deal will have the 24-year-old join the Serie A outfit on an initial loan deal before making the deal permanent after the first season.

Lucas Torreira joined Arsenal in the summer of 2018 to become a favourite but the situation changed last season under former manager Unai Emery and it has been the same with no playing time. This is in addition to the ankle injury he suffered before the coronavirus pandemic.
Current manager Mikel Arteta now prefers the combination of Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos in the midfield which makes it difficult for Lucas Torriera to succeed at the club.
However, the North London outfit are already making moves, according to report to replace him with Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey with the player also insisting he wants to join the Gunners team.
The North London club have been tipped to raise funds from the sale of Lucas Torriera and Emi Martinez to activate the £45 million clause of the Ghanaian international.
