Crystal Palace Reject £25m Move For Liverpool Striker

Crystal Palace have rejected reports that they are set to sign young Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster in a £25m deal.

Earlier this week, Sky Sports had claimed that the Eagles have reached an agreement with Liverpool for the signing of the England u-21 attacker.

It was disclosed that an agreement to sign Rhian Brewster for £19m was made plus £6m in add-ons thus making it a total of £25m.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has been vocal about the reported interest in Rhian Brewster as he denied it before asking Sky Sports to take down the report.

Rhian Brewster has been garnering a lot of interest from other Premier League teams this summer after the success of his loan spell at Welsh club Swansea City in the second tier of English football.

He scored 10 goals in 20 appearances for the Welsh club as he fired them into the Championship playoffs despite signing on loan in the middle of last season.

Rhian Brewster is back at Liverpool after his successful loan spell with Swansea City but he’s not guaranteed playing time due to the form of the front three and the recent signing of Diogo Jota.

Sheffield United, West Brom and Aston Villa have shown interest in him in recent weeks.
